Worship in Spirit and Truth

The Holy Qurbana is the central act of worship in our Church, a sacred mystery where we encounter Christ Himself in the consecrated Body and Blood. Through the ancient liturgy of St. James, we join with the angels and archangels in offering praise to the Almighty.

Our worship services are conducted with reverence and beauty, incorporating incense, chant, and ritual that have been preserved unchanged for centuries. Every gesture, every prayer, every symbol speaks of the glory of God and the salvation He offers to humanity.

"Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!"

Out of respect for the sacred nature of worship, we ask that all attendees dress modestly. Women may wish to cover their heads during the service.

Receiving Communion

Holy Communion is offered to baptized and chrismated members of the Syrian Orthodox Church who have properly prepared. Visitors are welcome to attend but not to receive.
